Biotite powder

Biotite is black, dark brown, sometimes with light red, light green or other colors; those with high TiO2 content are light red brown, while those with high iron content are green. Transparent to translucent. Glass luster, cleavage surface shows pearl luster, black is semi metallic luster. The sheet is elastic. Hardness 2-3. Specific gravity 3.02-3.12. It is yellow, brown or green under the transmission light of microscope.

Biotite is widely used in building materials industry, engineering plastics, electrical insulation, asphalt paint, rubber and other chemical industries. Functional filler can improve mechanical strength, enhance toughness, adhesion, anti-aging and corrosion resistance. Black cloud mother tablet is often used in building material fillings and real stone paint and other decorative coatings.
